EPISODE 5 BREAKDOWN
STILL TO BE SHOT
Paul and Ray are doing a job for their dark web clients. They kick in the door of a group of drug addicts, who are making their neighbours life a misery. The police and housing people won't sort out the problem, so they have resorted to hired heavies. Modern "Godfather" style.
They rough up the druggies and smash up their stereo equipment. They warn them that if they have to come back, they will silence them too. The neighbours are happy, and pay them the rest of fee for sorting this problem.
This has also been shot on video to promote them, with their faces blurred. The next day, a flood of other requests come in to sort out other petty criminals. The video went viral over the dark web. So much so, that they have to recruit a crew to deal with the demand.
Ewan Ford has also helped Ray to get his lapdancing club licence passed. In the condition that he does not break any rules. No underage girls, and all the other laws that go with this. Ray sells one of his city apartments to fund the club startup.
Ray asks Paul to help him with the club. He offers a joint business partnership. Paul still sees this type of business as old school and a small earner. He wants to get into new businesses, while also trying to get his writing kickstarted.
Ray convinces Paul that this club can really be a cover front for them, while they develop more lucrative ideas. Ray knows the sex industry, so he insists this has to be his foundation. The club can also be used to create new business relationships in the city.
Paul agreees to help Ray run the club. They also give Candy a job as a Supervisor-Femme Fatale. They have an opening party for their club. Ewan Ford is also there (Unofficially) in his private VIP area.
A rival city gangster managed to get an invite to this opening party. The gangster and his heavies try to squeeze Paul and Ray for cash. Paul and Ray pretend to come to a deal for the moment.
The reality is, they are going to have to kill this rival, or this will just spiral into a total shakedown. No matter how much Paul tries to get away from crime, and just be a writer, he keeps getting deeper and deeper back into this world.
They get a team of men together to stage a hit on the gang boss that is trying to extort money from them. The come up with a plan to hit the boss and his crew all in the one day. They get a tip that the gang boss is on a fishing trip in the Isle of Arran.
Paul and Ray take a trip to the island to kill this gang boss, while their gang wait for the call to stage the attack on his gang in the city.
